nah, come on. let's just chalk it up to being bored and frustrated with the wait.

and just remember those same options could be had for 20-30% less on a boxster/cayman. thanks porsche.

So order. cayman GT4 with PCCb and you're already winning $1000 if you do a rotor swap.

Black LEDs with PLDS+ are $2,340 on a GTS vs $3,715 on the RS without the Plus.

They should be standard, but forgetting that at least keep the 911 delta the same...

I understood that the LEDs are throttled back in the US due to regulations and are no more powerful than the Xenons, unlike the deployment in Europe. I did not order as I could see no benefit, and went with the normal ( excellent) Xenons and black…maybe I am wrong?

991 GT3RS launch is in Germany 19-22 May. Hopefully after that we will start to see magazine reviews on the car. Production is under-way so at least early owners will get a summer track season in and we should start to get reports flowing soon.

P.S. After watching that Youtube clip a few threads back, I still find it fascinating that PAG allowed the videos with the original 9000 rpm tacho and redline onto the internet. I believe there was even some marketing materials printed with this spec - would be fascinating to get a hold of one of those for the collection although I imagine they have all been destroyed now...

RS - Tires

I was looking at a friends 918 earlier this week in detail and I was surprised how big the tires are - they look even big on the 918 that is a larger car than a 911 - does anyone have more information on the rear tire and also pictures from the back underneath - I guess in real live the 325 width on the 911 body must look very dramatic - even more than it does on the 918....

.... and happy that my RS order is finalized and at V200 including some small special touches done with Melissa Whitek from Exclusive....

Good to know. They must be matte black and when you option black which you can do, they must be gloss.
