FWIW:
Dale who took the photos of the Violet I posted is a good photographer and uses good cameras so I suspect that the photos are pretty accurate.

Not sure if those are auto or manual shifts when they show the tach towards the latter part of the video. I suspect auto as the shift points are almost identical in every gear. If that's the case, it looks like the car is shifting at a hair above 8600 and not at 8800 RPM. Unlike the 3, there is a shaded area before the red zone on the tach. Interesting.
