Apparently not.

I typically pay extra for them to be painted body color, anyway. But always good to be safe.

Worst case, you can get them unpainted from Suncoast or Sonnen Parts, and just paint them yourself for a meager cost.
Just left dealer with a new turbo S with Black LEDs and.........chrome nips. Gotta specify exterior color or alternate...

Indeed.

It actually was never a default of Black LED PDLS.

It's just a default of certain cars. For example, the 991 GTS always comes with Black nipples, regardless of the type of headlight you order.

I thought it would be a default of the 991 GT3 RS, but apparently not, oddly enough, despite all the other exterior black contrasting bits.

This is the same and only RS that has the chromes.. (Same plate). All the rest of the cars we've seen have the black nozzles. (geneva, white car at spa, WR's lava RS, Mark Webber's..)

The standard nozzles are black.

spec for black nozzles, dealer called back the next day saying standard nozzles are in black and cancel my option.

Worst case scenario, i'll just ask dealer to replace if its not black for FREE!

if that's true, why cant you spec chrome nips ? It's not an option on the configurator...call me skeptical.

But... we still have to specify we want black headlights? Or is that standard? The promotional stuff shows black if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, if you want black head lights spec them. They are not standard. The promo car has PCCB...doesn't mean they are standard...what's so hard here ?

Mooty can fix this by discussing the relative merits of different cookies.

At some point there is little to discuss without having driven the car.
