Just spec'd my Canadian car:

There is NO Barney option. No ultraviolet special color in Canada. I think I am going with boring white more than launch color orange.

I have a freind with a 918, which gives him a allocation for a GT3 RS. He doesn't want to have it, so we have agreed that i colud have the allocation.
He has a very early 918, so does that mean his allocation for the GT3 RS is for one of the firtst ones?
Really looking forward to getting my GT3 RS. It will acutely be my first 911 I own and have owned other Porsches, but never a 911.

just figured out in the configurator that if you go orange exterior, you have no option for "normal" interior... you have to get the orange seat inserts and trim. that sucks. I love the crazy colors outside but I like my interior all business and think the orange inserts look really gawdy...

Given the lap times i have seen at Sebring with 996 Cup, the well set up 997.2RS were in the same league...
The 991RS will be there in lap times with early 3.6L 997 Cups.
I do not think the street RS will be considered slower....At Sebring anyhow..
However the 996 Cup is a good buy for anybody looking for a dedicated track car.

It wouldn't keep up with a 997 cup for half a lap.

Considering the current exchange rate, this might be a rare moment when a Porsche is a better deal up here than in the US.
