peter, wait for paisley park purple.
terracotta orange is just a little dull for an orange.
from the rear the car looks great; very wide and purposeful. not sure of the front-end yet.
the std gt3 looks much more refined and elegant though. i wouldn't be trading one of those for this one.

Full 'orange' seat belts...surprisingly good looking! The 'orange' deviating stitching is awesome. Still not thrilled with the 'orange' seat inlays from a design point of view but at least I don't see the 'orange' alcantara headliner. If so...thank the Lord!
And the 'sportdesign' exterior rear view mirrors apparently come with black on the underside as standard:
The 'Lava Orange' exterior paint needed some sun to show it's true color! Looking good and a reason to celebrate!

the safe color choice will be the launch color. it always is.
would love to see the purple however.... loving the popsicle colors!
A black car with gun metal wheels would have an awesome sinister personality. It would hide all the black plastic vents and intakes too.

In Europe, and for purposes of this intro video, it might be looked at as a 2015 since it will start to be sold shortly. But I am pretty sure it will be known as a MY2016 officially, especially in the North American market.
The question still unanswered is if the Euro Cycle 6 emissions regulations which need to be adhered to by September 2015 will impact production of the 991 gt3 RS BEYOND that date. Macca, we need more input from your knowledgeable sources on this topic.

A few other things too. What is this button? Pit lane limiter?
And are the needles yellow (as in the official interior photos) or orange (in the video)? Or is the the "preproduction mule" footage mentioned earlier? BTW the tach is grey (the other photo must have been glare making it look white).
Carbon fiber trim looks same as GT3 (not same as LWB, as was speculated).
Oh, and it looks like the LWB do not have the (actual 918) seat back side cut outs, but at least on this Euro spec car no neck pillows either!
4 more hours until showtime...
