Judging from the latest interior pic, redline is 8800rpm. Video is probably the one that was prepared for last year Geneva.

The interior design of the 911 GT3 RS with Alcantara elements is based on the current 911 GT3. One key new feature is the full bucket seats, which are based on the carbon bucket seats of the 918 Spyder.

wait, what is the difference between GT3 buckets and 918 buckets? i thought those were the same seat.

In Europe, and for purposes of this intro video, it might be looked at as a 2015 since it will start to be sold shortly. But I am pretty sure it will be known as a MY2016 officially, especially in the North American market.

The question still unanswered is if the Euro Cycle 6 emissions regulations which need to be adhered to by September 2015 will impact production of the 991 gt3 RS BEYOND that date. Macca, we need more input from your knowledgeable sources on this topic.

.

No simply infering that 991 GT3 is already Euro6
and 991 GT3 RS is using the same 9a1

Your not wrong about that ,the price of every thing is out of control in this country ,,,,,I think I saw an asking price of around $385K .........$60 above the GT3 price tag ,,,,steep but if I had the coin ,,,I would

seems it has a shorter final drive ratio, 4.19 vs. 3.97 of standard GT3...good!

Ouch!

May I ask what it is that adds to the price? Is it taxes?
