If the German price is a little over 180k Euros, US price will probably be $175k-179k

If the power is rated at 500, you can be confident that it makes a comfortable amount more than that on the dyno. AFAIK, the GT3 already makes 500.
GT cars are traditionally rated very conservatively.

FWIW, I used 2 different HP calculators based on the 126mph trap speed and 3197lb curb weight recorded for the GT3 by C&D. One computed to 500HP and the other to 512HP. I think it's a fair assumption that the quoted 475HP figure is conservative.
Once verified performance figures are available for the GT4 we should be able to get a better idea of it's true output.

Exactly - if you compare prices on the German website in Euros (including VAT) against the US website in USD, we pay fewer Dollars than the Germans pay Euros. And it's been that way even when the dollar was weak. If the German price is a little over 180k Euros, US price will probably be $175k-179k
I did a little work for Volvo a couple of years back and they actually lost money on every xc90 they sold in the US because of the weak dollar.

Correct - 4.0L (just as all the rumors have indicated) is the perfect displacement to produce that much torque. Nearly identical TQ/Liter ratio as GT3.

9A1 isn't new though. At least, not by today's standards. It was introduced at the beginning of the 997.2 run. That's a long time ago.

I have to thank another guy writing here much more than me. I don't mention him since I don't know if he likes or not to be mentioned...but he informed me yesterday about this opportunity and I can now confirm that soon some of us will be invited to see a digital presentation of the car . I suggest you to check with your dealers in your Country if you can get a similar invitation.
