Spoke to a tech who had to repair a 991 Targa mechanism.....said something like it's all controlled
by fishing line...he hates fishing.

I notice that the GT3 RS tires are now in stock and available from Tire Rack

As expected:
265/35 20 N1
325/30/ 21 N1
The 918 wears the same sizes but are OEM code N0. These are new, have OEM code N1, and have a ~12% higher load rating front and rear vs the 918. As mentioned earlier this seems to suggest the GT3 RS will make plenty of downforce.
Their availability now before the car gets here also again suggests the RS's introduction was pushed back...
