I purchased an extended warranty (Porsche Platinum, $250 deductible, 5 additional years (108mo., 60k total) for my 991.2 GT3 which was coming out of warranty. Paid $3,850 which after shopping around was a great price. Additionally, I purchased it from an out of state dealer where extended warranties are not subject to sales tax.
Can you please PM me the dealer info as well. I have a 2018 Touring coming out of warranty in October. Thanks
My dealer confirmed Porsche themselves will not offer extended warranty for 3RS, but said they have many 2RS/3RS customers who purchase the "Zurich" extended warranty through them and no issues reported for what it's worth
I'm debating getting a quote for cost and having to read the exclusions and fine print, but if I'm not tracking my 3RS thinking I'll run the risk of self-insuring (knocking on wood)

I think there may be confusion on what you bought exactly. Do you have a picture of the plan that shows who's name is actually underwriting it?
Trying to run a quick quote on my .2 GT3 and getting 'Contact Dealer for Pricing' - doesn't seem yours gave the same error?
I get the same on my 2015 GT3 and when I run my 2018 Macan my pricing is at least double that quote above with the $500 deductible. I'm guessing it must have to do with miles driven, but just doesn't seem worth it for the price.

I'm pretty gutted by that as well.
My wife's 2020 Macan S, which we custom ordered, is around 45K miles now. It has been flawless over the last three years. My wife will probably keep it another 3-4 years. I was thinking for a simple Macan the Fidelity Platinum would be around $3K. I'd have been all over that. But $5K-$6K? Yikes.
Hey guys, just to clear something up, GT3 and GT3 RS coverage is not available from Fidelity... The Darwin system (what we use to quote and what Steingold's quote machine is based off of) is reading 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS VIN's but not reading any other year of GT3 or GT3RS. I have made a note with Fidelity that if they are going to offer coverage on these vehicles, that the other years are not working, or if they are still ineligible... for some reason the 2016 911 GT3 RS is reading as eligible. I wouldn't want anyone purchasing a policy, then be denied when they go to use it because of a computer error.
Here the list of ineligible vehicles from Fidelity:

"Porsche Platinum" Seems misleading, if it were from Porsche, all dealerships would be offering it.
