Best place/price for extended Porsche warranty?
My factory 4yr/50k mile warranty is coming up here in 8ish months on my 991.2 GT3, so starting to think about a couple year extended warranty to cover me until maybe I can get an allocation for a 992 RS. Any good places to get a factory extended warranty for fair pricing?

Also, does anyone know if you can still buy an extended warranty when the 2y CPO extended warranty expires?

I have used EasyCare-TotalCare on several M cars and my current GT3 and have been well pleased.

My understanding is that you can buy an aftermarket warranty once the factory or CPO has expired, but you can't extend a CPO or buy CPO level of coverage except on a new purchase from a dealer.
Aftermarket warranties will cover less, but should cover drivetrain and other major components, depending on company and level of coverage.

I want a factory extended warranty, so was wondering if a dealer out there does a wholesale type deal with maybe a small markup?
For example, a guy (Dennis Fitchner) at Denny Menholt Chevy will do GM extended warranties for a great price. Flood Ford does good pricing on Ford extended warranties. Anyone in the Porsche world do something similar?

I actually just asked for a quote on my GT3 Touring from my dealer in SF Bay Area. The warranty is essentially extending the current Porsche factory warranty:
9 year/60k miles/$100 deductible -- $7,650
9 year/60k miles/$250 deductible -- $6,698
10 year/75k miles/$100 deductible -- $10,613
10 year/75k miles/$250 deductible -- $9,698
Given the cost of these machines and the cost of potential failure, doesn’t seem like a bad idea. One note is that the quoted time period is including your original warranty. I.e - 10 year (4 year factory + 6 year extended)
9 year/60k miles/$100 deductible -- $7,650

10 year/75k miles/$100 deductible -- $10,613
