Yes, the PDK is covered with Platinum coverage, as this has been verified with previous posts/customers!

For what it's worth to GT owners, I just insured my 2016 GT3 RS with Platinum coverage through Michael @ Steingold.

Just got off the phone with the dealer from whom I purchased my GT3RS (new) in 2019. They told me Porsche does NOT offer extended warranties on RS models. I asked why. I was told it's, "because owners track the RS models." I said I have some unfortunate news for you... owners track their non-RS GT models too. Not only that, but the GT3 (which is eligible) and the RS (which is not) both have the same engine, transmission, power/drive trains. And... Porsche specifically markets and sells both the GT3 and RS as track-focused toys. So why isn't the RS eligible? Finance manager sighed and said she couldn't help me lol.

Try Porsche Livermore. I was told no on my GT3 by several dealers, but was able to get Porsche platinum warranty through Porsche Livermore.

On an RS? Do you have the name of who you spoke to?

Just a regular GT3. But I was given the same answer of "not on any GT car" by several dealers. Then another member referred me to Porsche Livermore and they immediately hooked me up. So at least worth a shot. I worked with Erick Ramirez.

approximately how much did it run you if you don't mind my asking? my GT3s CPO warranty is coming up and I'd like to extend it if possible.

Darn, that's pretty crappy news. They do CPO the RS cars which is basically an extended warranty. Crazy they won't sell you one.

Hi

i am in the process of purchasing a 2017 Targa GTS and the dealership is asking for over $7k for it to be CPOd. Would greatly appreciate the contact info to purchase the extended warranty instead.
