Anyone with a law degree that can provide comment on the Exclusions section?

Appreciate the support from Michael with quoting and pricing.

Thanks!

If anyone buys an extended warranty without understanding what exclusionary means you may be making an inclusionary warranty tells you what they COVER. With part names. Problem is, often times those aren't the parts that fail, like in the case of a PDK which has a distance sensor (as I recall) that fails....and it's not on the list. Now you are screwed. You don't know what you don't know. Cars are too complex today.

Exclusionary means they must tell you what ISN'T covered, and that's what the Fidelity Platinum warranty is, and why Porsche owners like it. Problem is Fidelity doesn't write GT cars from what I see.

Porsche extended warranty is also exclusionary.

so sounds like porsche extended warranty is our only option for GT cars?

it looks like GT cars don't work with the link posted by michael at all

There are many dealers that will do it.

Porsche Platinum, $250 deductible, 6 additional years/75k miles. Pretty straightforward to do for my 991.2 GT3.

I just bought the Porsche warranty through Porsche of Livermore 2 weeks ago. It’s definitely possible.

All, I recently purchased a platinum VSP warranty through Porsche Annapolis here in Maryland, My POC was Danny Pena. I was out of factory/CPO warranty when I purchased it. They did a car inspection before the purchase. 48/4 year for under 6k w/ 250 deductible. Smooth easy transaction. It was cheaper than all fidelity quotes I received. Mine was a 2015 Carerra S so your prices may vary, I just wanted to share so people realized they could purchase if outside of a current warranty.

I bought a 7 year, believe 100k mile platinum plan from Porsche for a 15 gt3. It was $6,100 with $250 deductible. I consider it a bargain, and I don't buy warranties on anything. With this car, it's a great idea. When asked if I want one when buying a refrigerator, I feel like I'm spending money to protect myself from something they didn't build well. It's like going to a high end steak house, that ribeye will be $45.00 but if you want to be sure it's cooked exactly as you like, it will be $50.00 That's just how my brain works, drives wife crazy at times.

Default Integrity warranty company

Has anyone had the 3rd party "Integrity warranty company" coverage? The non Porsche dealer I'm buying my car from offers this company. The dealer is a high end exotic car dealer.

If another company calls their warranty "platinum" or not doesn't help if the parts listed aren't covered. That's how warranty companies make money. Do a search in the forums and make sure you get that. I don't care what they will cover, because there are many many parts that fail that aren't on the list.

Example is the Easycare warranty which does not list the most common failure part on a PDK. The distance sensor and valve body....and more.

Default Dealership?

Can you share where you got these options from?

9 year/60k miles/$250 deductible -- $6,698

10 year/75k miles/$100 deductible -- $10,613
10 year/75k miles/$250 deductible -- $9,698

Given the cost of these machines and the cost of potential failure, doesn’t seem like a bad idea. One note is that the quoted time period is including your original warranty. I.e - 10 year (4 year factory + 6 year extended)

I believe that was from Porsche Livermore. I ended up contacting them as well and purchased my extended warranty through them (had no luck through a couple of other Bay Area dealers).

Yup - I purchased through Porsche of Livermore. They are my home dealer and have been great about warranty work.
