Yes to all, except we cannot process to CA residents, regardless of phone or online since we are not a CA registered dealer.

Not doubting you received a clear answer from Fidelity Dealer Assistance here, and appreciate the info you provide to the community - it’s just difficult to argue with the AutoRates legal team here after they confirmed the plan will be valid if the system can accurately decode the VIN and provide coverage - regardless of which vehicles are eligible, if the system quotes accurately, and a contract is produced successfully, it’s valid.
If they adjust the system and find any issues with the rating tool, the system will be updated accordingly, but in the interim, all plans purchased successfully are valid. Not sure what will happen in the coming weeks or months, but at the moment, if the system quotes, we can write it. Same applies to you and your store; but by all means, continue to do business as you deem fit.

I purchased an extended warranty (Porsche Platinum, $250 deductible, 5 additional years (108mo., 60k total) for my 991.2 GT3 which was coming out of warranty. Paid $3,850 which after shopping around was a great price. Additionally, I purchased it from an out of state dealer where extended warranties are not subject to sales tax.

My factory 4yr/50k mile warranty is coming up here in 8ish months on my 991.2 GT3, so starting to think about a couple year extended warranty to cover me until maybe I can get an allocation for a 992 RS. Any good places to get a factory extended warranty for fair pricing?
After a week Porsche offered several nice packages under their Platinum VSC coverage.
I figure purchasing through a Porsche Dealership should take any guess work out of potential future repair hassles.
Very pleased to know that have 6 more years or 101K miles to enjoy my car to its fullest!
Recently had the G6 motor installed as well, but that was under the standard warranty.

Is $4,000 a good average cost for extended warranty for 991.2 GT3 manual?
If the car is out of warranty (no CPO), can you still purchase this? If so, is an inspection required? Does the car need to be stock?

The reason I was given by many dealerships and Porsche NA was that the RS is for the track and owners subject it to more wear/tear. I think this is BS because both RS and non-RS models are tracked equally. And they're the same power/drive train... so... Who knows.

Hmm. This is a problem. Good thing I have 2 years of CPO left but after that, something needs to be figured out.
