I actually inquired about this car. I was told it has a BBi suspension, BBi cage and an aftermarket exhaust. It's not that they won't certify it, they can't as it sits. They'd have to put it back to stock (I assume the OEM parts don't come with the car) and it probably isn't worth it for them to do all that.

Love that color. Miles and mods wouldn't matter to me--Bbi is good stuff. And the pccbs look in great shape so it doesn't look beat on.

Solid car. Test drove it (normally lol). BBI did all the work. New tires. While the mods make it seem like it was a track rat, the exterior definitely does not show abuse. I think maritime blue photographs way worse than it looks in person— pics definitely do not do the color justice. Passed b/c I was not convinced that I wanted PDK.

I’ve driven both, both are awesome. The 992 is about a 10% better driving experience on the street, interior is nicer, but otherwise doesn’t seem to merit the rather large price delta to a 991.2. I voted with my wallet, bought a 991.2.

Thanks yall. I was worried that with the mods it had been beat on the track a lot.

Going to PECLA next week so might stop by that dealer to check it out.

Im surprised they let you test drive. Lots of Porsche dealerships are hesitant to let you drive unless you have agreed on price.

65k over... no FAL to boot. Touring market is so strong.

Nice to see another familiar 993 face around here. Seems like there are a handful of us that look up and down and conclude that the 993 and 991.2 GT cars are the ones to have.

I think a winged car, same spec, would struggle for 200k. crazy delta.

Never selling my 993! 991.2 and 993 best of both worlds! Manual in my 993 and PDK in my 991.2 GT3!

No wing and sofas? I'd say just get a GTS and save $75K+. I know, I know the NA motor that revs to 9000 but there aren't many places aside from the track where one can truly experience the greatness of a GT3, In those cases a GT3 with buckets and a wing makes perfect sense.

I paid $185k last may for almost an identical winged version. Same miles
