Wasn't someone on RL trying to ask like 280 for theirs not recently lol

Then i went to the 992 GT3 search and there are plenty in the $230-260k range with less than 5k miles and 2022MY with CPO warranty.

Really makes no sense….
991.2's aren't being made anymore. That's it... supply is limited, especially low mileage and well taken care of examples. And, currently, there's about 1/2 as many for sale compared to 1 year prior.

Lol yes, his was similar spec with 2500 miles or so. He sold it to Ryan Friedman in NY, they sold it for either 230k or 240k I believe. Sold before it was even listed publicly.

GT3 Touring WP0AC2A99KS149289 mentioned above. Sold on BAT, traded to Chicago Motorworks recently and is now here in KY at Cross. CPO is dead, due to overrevs and local dealer will kill it as not sold through Porsche dealer.
Why should I not consider making an offer on this one? Seems the overrevs happened awhile ago. Assuming it runs and runs strong. Cases made for or against?

Hello all,

I've been lurking the forums reading, and originally I wanted to get a GT3 in manual. After much thinking, I won't be driving this car much, but just a weekend toy, so I rather have something raw and viceral.

This one popped up locally:

https://www.velocitymc.com/vehicle-d...6775fcdc91117b

Thoughts? I don't really care about options, but it has the ones I want. Color (Acceptable, I would rather have white, green, or purple), front axle lift, white gages.

Thanks

I’m totally biased as I owned a Lava RS 4 years, and they are incredible cars. However, I wouldn’t buy one without the carbon buckets seats. Imho, they very much compliment the car, what is was designed to do, etc. There are plenty to choose from, maybe not local, but the seats for me are a big deal. And not something you want to regret after the fact.

Buy the color you really want over an "acceptable" option, IMO. I waited a few months for the right color and spec, and I'm really really happy I did.

Also definitely agree with CubsFan on the seats, the buckets make the drive feel like more of an experience. If you have back issues make sure you test them out before buying.

Have you driven either a manual GT3 or an RS? I drove a 991.1 GT3RS thinking it'd be "more" than the GT3 but if anything it was less interesting due to the lack of stick. The manual 991.2 GT3 I ended up buying is the most fun weekend car I've found.

I agree with this outside of the seats. I ended up with a 991.2 manual after driving the RS several times.

I already have a track weapon so sofas and lots of luxury options (heated sofas) were top priorities.

I will say the RS does have its charms. I liked the 991.2 engine a little more.

+1. .2 manual is the better weekend drive road car. Both cars are raw and visceral. GT3 as the tame version of the RS is a misconception.

Particularly if you're comparing a .2 manual w/ buckets to a .1 RS with sofas as linked above. The .2 manual w/ buckets will be a more involving experience.

Any info on this car? I obviously prefer a PTS but not that many for sale out there right now. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/8...-97606db846a5/

That actually seems like a pretty decent "deal". Basically my car but with ugly seat inserts, which can be easily replaced. Full PPF, is a nice addition for sure.

Coincidentally, I had a guy in a Cayenne GTS chase me down today and pull up along side me to tell me he owns a local dealership and offered me $200k cash, sight (mostly) unseen for my car. The market is still plenty silly.

Just posted my GT3 for sale - https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1362259. Good ole' Facebook forums of course are roasting on the price, but I think with the specs it has it should fetch around $140k-$145k. It's OBO, so open to hearing anything reasonable. Car is awesome, I am only selling to move to an RS.

$40k over MSRP isn't ideal in this market IMO given the recent sales but who knows. I would be interested at that price point point if it was a touring or if it had PCCBs with more options.
