Be prepared to lose, and be happy if you win (e.g. get even money / enjoy miles & smiles). In the odd event you make money, great - but don't count on it happening again or factor into your purchasing decision - if that is what underpins the transaction, you shouldn't be getting a GT car or any car.

Anyone interested in a 205msrp 991.2 PDK GT3 with 7k miles?

Every option apart from PTS, car is white with new PPF and incredible condition. Comes with ST Rotors.

Trying to figure out a good price, bought it for my wife but her interest has been low.

Congrats! Nice find with those wheels, I am going to get some mag wheels for my racing yellow WP .2RS. Having trouble deciding on the black wheel color (as the car was delivered) or the gold.

I was on autotrader today doing my monthly search for GT3.

I’m confused why the 991.2 prices are not going down. There are 2018 cars with over 10k miles that are out of warranty non-Cpo asking for over $200k.

Then i went to the 992 GT3 search and there are plenty in the $230-260k range with less than 5k miles and 2022MY with CPO warranty.

Really makes no sense….

I don’t have the answer but maybe people prefer the 991.2 over the 992. I am one of those people. And I owned a 992 Touring. Happy I sold it and kept my 991 Touring.

That would make sense if people were actually buying those 991.2s for $200k. Most of them not selling

Go black or dark silver - gold on racing yellow would look off. Darker colors sync up nicely with the contrast you would have w/ darker CF on a brighter color.

I don’t think we really know what cars are selling for overall. Yes in recent years the market has changed and values overall have declined. The initial price hype of the 992 has passed. Any car that is selling close to MSRP after 4 or 5 years is doing pretty good in my opinion.

What didn’t you like about the 992 Touring - the only criticism i have heard is the rougher ride.

Just strange to have such a small price delta between same model given the additional warranty and less mileage plus age of the car. Makes the 992 GT3, the better choice if you’re crazy to overpay for these cars.

The msrp on most of the 991.2 was $150-180k without PTS. The only used ones on sale for below $200k are ones that have high mileage or accident history etc.

I have already gone over what I liked better about the 991 in other threads. Yes the ride is stiffer in the 992. I like the overall design of the 991 better. I know there isn’t that much of a difference in the actual measurements but it looks smaller to me. I’m not a fan of the lightweight glass all around in the 992, in fact mine was delivered new with a broken rear side window. I still like the door handles on the 991 more. Interior wise I prefer the analog gauges. The 992 has too much going on in the infotainment system. It had some glitches. I think the 991 has a more retro design. It just felt better to me when I drove them back to back.
Im not saying the 992 isn’t a great car, and if I didn’t already have the 991 I’m sure it would have been fine. I also live in South Florida and I know that they have delivered way more 992 Tourings than they did the 991. I think the 991 is more special and was not made in the same numbers as the 992. Overall for me it is a better choice.

The 991.2 GT3s available online are the remaining cars that haven't sold for awhile. Most of the nice spec cars at reasonable price have long sold, leaving the ones in undesirable colours or without things like FAL / PCCB. I only really follow the manual market so can't speak to PDK pricing / availability.

Mexico Blue manual car up for sale. Same one that Lawrence Motorsports bought on BaT last summer (204k+fee) and then asked something like 230-240k on. Looks like a nice one.

I am that guy at well…991.2 is the Touring for me…which is not to say the 992 Touring isn’t a brilliant piece of machinery…it’s just the analogue nature of the 991.2 - needless to say understated styling and “something about it” street presence…pixie dust and all.
