@Skullbussa I've sold 3 cars on Autotrader in the last few years and found the tire-kicking to be much less there than the one p-car that I placed on the marketplace here. Plus, if you list here, you have to contend with the same set of people who post in this thread about prices collapsing to migrate over to your for-sale thread and post that your car is over-priced.

I think teasing your car in this thread with a few pictures and just noting you've listed it for-sale by owner would be the best way. The truly interested enthusiasts will find the car.

Yep.. touring, except its a 149k MSRP, with what seems to be almost no options except FAL. 50k over? Good luck to those guys.

Sold by a Porsche dealer - surprised it's not CPO.

Oddly enough, the original owner spec'ed a fire extinguisher.

No idea what I'd replace this car with that is better, but putting 10 miles or so on it a week seems like an egregious waste of a flawless car.

Is now a good time to sell and, if so, what's the recommended avenue to it that doesn't involve having to deal with tire kickers and story tellers?
Avoid selling here or Bringatrailer like the plague.

Autotrader is where I sold my 991.2 3RS, go there and only there imo. Here on RL was a nightmare and sold another car on BAT which is also a nightmare and full of more phonies and fake bidders than you could ever imagine.

I think it is an amazing time to sell if you have an extra GT Porsche laying around. The prices are pretty out there imo, mine included

Interesting, how come RL was such a nightmare?

Probably because the lowest priced BaT result spreads on here as gospel / the new watermark

Agree, how is RL a nightmare? Didn’t even have to place an ad and sold the car to the first person who reached out. And there were several. Took the car in for PPI, money was wired and car shipped. Didn’t receive one PM from anyone I would characterize as a flake or tire-kicker. Not implying that never happens but I found it very simple to start with a PM, then text/email and then phone call. I posted several pictures and a brief description, that’s it. Kept all discussions private.

I realize there are plenty of opinions on here and people feel how they feel about what a car is worth, value, etc. But real buyers will reach out. They’re either able and willing to pay or not. For almost no cost you can find out what people are willing to pay now. Even if it doesn’t meet your expectations. You will get a sense for what some are willing to pay.

I think if owners just stayed out of this thread it would be a lot better

there would be less back and forth on “value”

more just posts about cars for sale / recent sold cars

this thread will never move the market for either buyer or seller

few new cars went on yesterday to usual sites. Nice red car if that’s your thing

As pointed out the car has a MSRP under 150k. When looking at GT3’s or any car, you have to take into consideration what options the car has. This is basically a very low optioned car. Ask is 50k over.

Well, not that odd, if you stick with free and super cheap options, it goes with the overall theme on that one, haha.

They are not. Maybe someone who has an unlimited budget will have to have it.
