That is a foolish statement. Those are investment accounts. I didn't lose money, I lost short term value. Big difference. I actually started piling more into those accounts when they were low as they started to rise back up. Same principal.

Loving this Touring in Graphite. Listed @ $221k, 2,937 mls. Competitive list price for such low miles, guess because sofas and irons. Think this color looks much better with the red calipers anyways. https://www.mclarenboston.com/2018-p...11-gt3-c-1531/

Sold for a little over 10k over MSRP however if you read the comments and look at the DME report it had a serious over rev history from the track with range 6 over revs which are above 10k rpm. So considering that I would say well sold.

range 6 def impacts especially if recently

I don’t think it was that recent but I’m sure it scared away bidders based on the comments. They were saying good gamble as a new engine would be 40k. So even if needed one the buyer would be into the car for around 220k.Not sure if their numbers are correct but that’s what was said.

They're all so similar from my point of view. Original build total/options only relevant insofar as a car suits use preferences. Wouldn't pay meaningfully more for a highly optioned car at this point. All things being equal between two cars, maybe +$10k max if it was a really attractive PTS and a handful of other "bonus" options.

Maybe I'm the odd one out on Graphite. Think it's awesome in various lighting situations. I'd have a Touring with sofas as well, think they complement the ethos of the car more.
