How are you all finding these aside from the typical Autotrader, Cargurus, BAT, etc? Some of the specialty shops / dealers, like the one above there I dont search on a normal basis, and those sometimes have the more rare / cared for stuff. I found my dream car last month, through a brief mention on this thread, only to have the seller decide he didnt want to sell as the dealer literally had a truck on the way to pick it up. I fear I may never find THAT exact spec again, so looking to broaden my typical search horizon if I can.

These cars get better, the more miles they have on them. Both my 991.1 GTS and 991.2 Touring drive better today than they did when they had less than 10,000 miles on them. My GTS has 56,000 miles and my GT3 24,000.
And that GT3 Touring with the DeMan engine... It will be interesting to see what he gets for the car. He claims to have put about $60,000 into the upgrade (which sounds about right, as I have looked into doing the same for my GTS). Not sure he will get that $60,000 back in the sale. And yeah, his videos are not to my taste, either. Too much cussing and unnecessary sexual innuendo. I just watched his video because I was looking for information on the 4.5 Deman engine in 911s rather than in the GT4.

Interesting. I thought it was just me thinking the higher miles Touring drove better.
This was my car. I bought it in February 2022 and owned it for a bit over a year. I decided to sell it because I enjoyed driving my 997.2 GT3 more. After I sold this 991.2 GT3, I picked up a 997 GT2. It’s nice to have one naturally aspirated GT car and one turbo GT car.
