Sure has been a lot of waiting in this thread. Prices have ticked down a tad but do you still want to wait another year for an additional tad, maybe...

Prices have come down $30k on average since last July/August. Wouldn't call that a tad. How's your listing going? Noticed you already dropped the price from $235k to $230k. GLWS.

Just dropped yesterday. Here's my ad if anyone has interest: https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ckType=listing

Have a few bites, been offered $220K. Replacing it with this. Porsche bumped my delivery date by a full month so I should have it by early May. Plenty of time to sell my 991.2 even though I don't have to beforehand. Not sure if the 992 will be better for me actually:

992s RS out soon and soon will be gone and sold. those waiting right now will most likely be disappointed not getting .2 rs now. 992 RS is on a different league and price gap will be substantial...... just my opinion time will tell

991.2 is a beauty, glws. Did you spec the 992 with manual as well? Public roads or track use? What's the reason for doubt on the 992

Thanks. Yes I'm getting a manual again. Other than a few laps in my old Carrera T I haven't tracked a 911. I used to marshal and instruct for sport bike track days for 10 years so I wouldn't say that I've had my fill, but going to the track isn't the priority that it used to be. I'd be open to going again but the 992 GT3 will be for back roads and whenever I want to jump into it, just like my 991.2.

My doubts about the 992 probably has to do with my experience with the 997.2 I used to have. The suspension in the 997.2 was jarring on surface streets and was more hardcore in general compared to my 991.2. But I used to commute in that car whereas now that's not how I'll use the 992 GT3. I've heard, seen and read that the 992 is a firmer suspension than the 991.2, is more darty, tramlines etc. The 991.2 is such a sweet car overall. But when your dealer calls out of the blue after being on the list for four years and offers up a GT3 at sticker it would be stupid to turn it down.

Pretty great deal on a nice looking 991.2 gt3 that just sold for $154k ($159 with 5k buyer's premium). Frontal axle lift, leather (including steering wheel), 18way sofas, sapphire blue, full ppf, 1 owner, clean car fax, 15k miles, $164k original msrp.

The downside is that there was some repaired damage which the seller did mention, but was a little sparse on the description (eventually gave more details).

Agreed, you have to see what it's all about if that's the deal! Please share impressions.

Compared to the 996TT and GT3T auctions on BaT today, the Texas blue '18 GT3 was a snooze. Can't tell if it was the body work, Sunday factor, sofas, lack of PCCBS, lack of 3rd pedal, or what, but marked difference among the Porsche auctions on BaT today.

ummmmmm the yellow one didn’t sell today either. Canada car. Blue one didn’t sell cuz of accident. It’s pretty clear.

My thinking too, just pulled the trigger on a .2 RS. Wondering if the .2 RS will eventually be seen as “the last road going RS”

The Texas 991.2 GT3 is literally the least desirable GT3 you can buy(sofas, PDK, steel brakes). Only thing worse would be if it had a rubber dash.

Yeah at this point I'd say take that 220k offer.

5k mile Red WP 3RS just sold on BaT for 230k today, prices coming down quick. Last year that was an easy 260k car.
