The 991 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

look more closely those are AP calibers painted red with Porsche decals applied. See the 2 socket head cap screws in the center of the caliper and if you look close the back sides are more open than Porsche brakes.
I looked at a few 16 RS back in April and they were priced from 205-210K so with the recent slip in prices that may be in line.

I bought my .2RS a few months ago. I love it! Best P car I have owned by far. I have a chance to move it for what I paid. I eat about 10k in taxes on it. I am inclined to take the deal because the next year will be brutal imo for the car market. In the next year we will be demolishing our house and building a new one. Makes sense not to have to garage someone else. I think post build I am going to jump right back in but maybe go a for a PTS or color car this time. Y’all have been fantastic and I look forward to the return. Happy driving everyone!

Buying a 991 GT3 and having it depreciate $30-50K over 3-5 yrs is quite different than just setting that much $ on fire. If the possibility of the former is not “acceptable” financially or emotionally, then perhaps spending $200K on any car isnt a great idea- even if GT3 values slide 10-15% in the short term to allow a more digestible price of entry. Buying a GT3 based upon predicted depreciation, hoping for appreciation / flip, when Porsche stops making ICE GT cars, etc sucks the fun out of ownership imo-

this. my wife has a new GLE 53. I bet i lose more on that over the next 3 years than my 991.2 RS and the sticker was less than 1/2.

It took 9 years for my TTS to depreciate ~$100k before I traded it in and added 60k miles to it. It took about 4 years to lose that same amount on my wife’s RR LWB Autobiography. I think depreciation wise, even before COVID. Porsche is doing pretty well. Drive and enjoy your pcars my friends.

So yeah, Porsche isn’t bad.

Wow and I would say you got a great trade in especially on RR. My wife puts crazy mileage on hers with all the kids stuff, so when it approaches 100k miles we try to get out of it at all costs. But I have to say when it comes to SUVs I love them it’s like driving on a cloud and the leather interior is always primo!

I guess it’s not so bad - compared to how bad deprecation has been in the past on the RRs. The new one is truly fantastic. If you haven’t had the chance, you should check it out. Drives so much nicer - handling is tighter, braking is better, power is better yet the ride is super smooth and it is very quiet. They made the front seats more comfortable and the leather is nicer. I’m a big fan.

I'm in the market for a PTS 991.1 GT3 RS if anyone knows of one for sale or is thinking of selling one. I've seen the few on the market and I'm a cash buyer so won't waste anyone's time.
