It's about average. The Lava 3RS on BaT was only offered 175k trade in's by local Porsche dealers, he was willing to take slightly above that but then it went to BaT instead.

They still think they can get $60k over on a stripper spec just because its a touring?

245k + 10% fee. Big money!

Going to unload my 997C2S is hopes of finding a 3 matches.
Same for me. Going to hunt for a high mileage. Only this this game is 30k miles considered a lot. Any other car and it’s low miles.

GT3 miles = 10 * regular miles, apparently. Who new until they got into this niche? Not me.

$264k with the buyers premium. They must’ve had an open bar and the rich person ego got to them. If you’re starting your own auction house the most important thing is to have a big bar with plenty of preferably cheap inventory.

What are high option 2016 GT3RS with low mileage selling for? I am looking at one that had MSRP of $210k. I have been doing some due diligence before I pull the trigger but is seems like prices are still all over the place. I've seen some in the $185k range then others actually sell for in the 200k teens. I realize there are a lot of factors involved in pricing. I looked a PTS 2016 that was $190k this weekend but then I see some non PTS cars sell for more.

I am looking at one with the following options I can get for $205k. Not sure if that is a decent price or not.

082 Extended Range Fuel Tank
450 Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB)
474 Front axle lift system
490 Sound Package Plus
509 Fire Extinguisher
583 Smoking package
630 Light Design Package
643 Sport Chrono Package incl. Porsche Track Precision App
690 SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, NavTraffic, NavWeather and HD Radio Receiver
79 Leather Interior in Black/GT Silver (Alcantara®)
810 Floor Mats CPK Vehicle key painted
G7 Ultraviolet
P13 Automatically dimming mirrors with integrated rain sensor
P23 Porsche Communication Management (PCM) incl. navigation module
XCS SportDesign Side Mirrors Lower Trim in Black (High-Gloss)
XDK Wheels painted in satin black (complete)
XEY LED Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
XLJ Storage Compartment Lid in Alcantara® with Porsche Crest
XUB Headlight Cleaning System Covers in Exterior Color
XXD Door Sill Guards in Carbon Fiber, Illuminated
XXG Clear Taillights
XYB Fuel Cap with Aluminum Look Finish

What's considered low mileage? 500 or 5000?

Dealers are offering about 175k on trade in for cars with 13-15k miles and about 180k for 10-12k mile 991.1 RS's. Using this if it has 5k or less miles I would assume a dealer trade in would be 190ish? So add about 10k for a retail sale that should get it done. Issue right now is that many sellers/dealers think yesterday's price applies today and it takes a while for the market to soften.

The engine and PDK replacement far exceed what you would be “saving”. But, hey, who knows? Maybe the car will be AOK.

If it was just used for those circle track dream car lap events, then it may not be that bad. It’s not as they’re stressing out the suspension or anything, just tallying up miles at speed.
It was Royalty Exotics rental. I rented it once for 24 hours.

Default Perfect spec Manual GT3 - prior owner

I owned this Gt3. Absolute perfect condition, perfect spec, perfect car. I think they priced it very fairly also. Manual, chalk, pccb, lift,Bose, leather, 4k miles. Car has PPF on front clip, paint corrected, ceramic coated. No chips or imperfections.

Buy with confidence.

That's great to hear. But Still not sure most people want to pay 40 over these days with further decline happening.

The 14k mile big MSRP(213K) Lava RS just ended at 176k: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...911-gt3-rs-25/

True indication of today's market, I bet dealer offers on it were probably 168-172k for trade in.

ive been eyeing that car! It is perfect for me but I’m one of the believers that there are a lot of 2018s on the market and it’s sensible to wait.

I may be wrong, and I may be missing an opportunity on your old car. I’m sure the group appreciates you posting here.

what’d you get to replace it?

the best cars will always bring the best money. 210 is kind of high I admit but this car will always bring a premium. not exactly 992's sitting on lots at sticker.

Being "sensible" would be to not buy a GT3 to begin with, lol.
