however, when I went to pick it up today, there is apparently a bulletin on emissions requiring a reflash that is not yet released and Porsche put a stop sale on the car(s)?
this is probably related to the recent settlement of the class action lawsuit.

Sounds like an ambulance chaser **** show. I hope I don’t regret this deal.

edit: dealer says that’s not the issue. 2 lava RS cars are grounded at the dealer while the regular GT3’s have been done. Is there not a service bulletin tracking service or something?

Chalk Touring with 7k miles, buckets, iron brakes, FAL, and a decent spec sheet. Apparently a Sharkwerks exhaust as well. MSRP ~169k. Asking 230k.

Question for the folks who’ve been around the block with 991.2 gen… how important is cpo on a used one? In the one hand I don’t read about too many expensive common failures on the other hand do you really wanna be out of pocket for something on a $200k car.
better asked another way, everything else being equal what is a fair price difference between and cpo and non cpo car?
appreciate the feedback

Some 2019’s still have plenty of warranty. Engines are pretty much bullit proof.

I’m not looking for an RS. Maybe one out of every 30 regular 991.2 gt3 has been a ‘19

The cost to get it CPO'd is approx $3,900 I believe, and well worth the piece of mind. Plus, it's effectively had a PPI. So $4,500 price difference seems very fair.

hmm interesting... i had it pegged at much higher value at around $20k. maybe i am overthinking the benefit
i too would prefer to have it if possible but with private deals or this one particular car at a porsche dealer that had ONE rev range 4 overrev its not always possible unfortunately but maybe i've been mentally discounting those cars too much

this was a bit of a shocker: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2018-porsche-gt3-120/

either people were not paying attention due to the holiday or the market really is softening a bit

9/10 non-touring cars on autotrader have an asking price above that and only one of them has lower mileage. what specifically about the spec of that car makes you say it was worth less, lack of pccb? it had a $170k msrp otherwise which is pretty high

asking price on Autotrader doesn’t equate to what it sold for. If you look at sold data on BAT, most are coming in at or below what that one sold for.
