Sounds like I should keep my Miami Blue one for awhile. If someone is crazy enough to pay me $275k for mine, I would sell it though. 9500 miles, been tracked and has PCCBs in a box (traded them out when i bought the car for surface transforms). Also has full Dundon system with plenum but I have the original exhaust parts still too. Full PPF on the whole car and brake calipers rebuilt with titanium pucks (overkill for sure). Just installed new Cup 2s a couple weeks ago and new brake pads at that time as well. Did the 2 year service in March. MSRP was $245k. Has BBI half cage and P1 design seat inserts (still have ones that came with the car originally) and Ed's bolster covers. BBI wheels as well and no, don't have the originals anymore. VIN WP0AF2A92KS165356. PM if you are desperate for the best color they offered.

Very nice job on the upgrades. You spent some money! By chance did you slap it on the dyno after the Dundon upgrades? I'd be really curious to see the new numbers especially after since you went ***** out and installed their Plemun as well. Any video of it turning some laps? I bet it sounds amazing! Beautiful car!

Here is a couple laps with my 26 year old son driving it.
He is a much better driver than his old man. haha. The Dundon system is definitely an amazing sound that will not pass sound at any track that cares.

I did not put it on the Dyno. I will say though that it was 7 mph faster on the straight after the Dundon upgrades. It's very noticeable.

Only reason I would sell is I have a 992 GT3 coming and probably don't need both. I don't track it anymore either. I am tracking fully caged race cars now.

WOW, lots of fun being had there! Very nice. He's a good driver. The car sounds INSANELY GOOD in that short video. It looks to handle every bit as good. Your son has a great video driving your 997.2RS on the track. OMG that looks like a blast. He was getting after it!!!! Atta boy! I had to watch it twice😁😁😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Very exhilarating.

Ya, he is pretty fast. Pisses me off. haha. We both have BMW e36 m3s that are fully caged cars we race. He always is a couple positions in head of me. Check some of his S2000 videos out as well. He drives that thing at 11/10ths. haha. He is only 2 seconds a lap slower in the S2000 than the 997.2 3RS!

I would cash in too! No way these cars are worth what they are selling for. Things will get back to normal in 12 months I'm betting.

GT3 values may be inflated over many other cars but every vehicle and every product and service is currently inflated at some level. They've bailed out too many and have printed too much. Will GT3 values come down considering all of this? I'm not confident that they will nor anything else for that matter.

Not sure that GT3s are in fact more inflated that other cars. Everything is 10-20% higher, the GT3 price is higher to begin with so in dollars terms, that's a bigger bump. And values have already come down from the absolute peak, albeit definitely not to where they were in 2019 - not sure if they'll ever get back there but the market has been flooded with listings compared to a couple months ago so it will come down further.
