Miami Blue WP .2 RS back in December for about $260k. It was only 3800 miles, complete full PPF wrapped, 100% mint condition and was CPO through 2025. Hard to find really good ones in that $240 to $260k range.

Conpletely agree with you. But to an undiscerning buyer, they will see RS + PTS + $150k below some of the crazy asking prices out there = bargain!

$215k ($220k all in with buyer fee) for a low mileage 991.2 RS: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...sche-gt3-rs-8/
Caveat is that it had AC delete option which won’t work for many people (me included). Probably some day will be a rare collector car.

Real dealers don’t pay much interest indexed to short term rates. They issue bonds and collateralize auto loans. You are thinking of a mom and pop dealer trying to haggle a GT car?
The pending rate hikes have been telegraphed for well over a year, two years? Inflation has been running hot for well over a year….
This is not a surprise. There will be no sales to be had nor will there be a big recession that craters the cost of these cars. The fundamental buyers of these cars don’t car if recession is 7 10 or 15 percent.
Borrowing costs are low. If you are a holdout because the car you want is 10-20-40k over your hypothetical budget, just pony up and get the keys (borrow if your circumstances require it).
Life is too short - just get it done or just accept these cars may not be right for you.

Merit partners is finally pricing at least one car right. 18 GT3 with LWB and PDK in white for $165k. Only 1 owner.
Link to ebay buy it now for $165k
Ive seen the same GT3's for months and dealers just keep dropping prices. Several in the $170's now that have been on the market since November/December. The GT3s that are priced well are the only ones selling.
