I'm guessing the buyer really didn't like the 992 looks, or that's its more RS now than gt3 with the stiffer suspension.

either way he's not alone. There were 3-4 people trying to outbid each other from 190 to 220

That is the beautify of a free market. You can choose what you want, when you want it and pay what ever you feel it’s worth for you. We can talk about this for ever, but the proof is there, there are people that want it at that price, and as noted above, there were a 3 people going at it.
Congrats to the buyer, I’m sure they are happy and would love the car.

The 991.2 I had was the best car I had, and I’m hoping the 992 is even better.

I'd prefer low mile car too but a 4year old car with 100 mile would give me some serious concerns as well, would rather want something in the 1-5k range.

This one shows pending but ask was 230k

A lot of tire kickers here wanting prices to drop. I agree that that there's no shortage of serious buyers in this market for a quality specced car with low miles.

I suspect that in about six months a lot of people are going to have the car equivalent of the day-after-a-bender hangover and say to themselves, ‘my God, what have I done?!’

I agree. I need to sell a few more cars quickly. I'll buy them back this fall or early spring.
