That’s because your Cup 2 was an off-the-shelf Cup 2 for the F430, not a manufacturer-specific Cup 2. Although a manufacturer-specific Cup 2 could be made to respect its stated dimension. BUT in the case of the Cup 2 N0/1/2 325/30/21, compared to another non N-rated 325/30/21 tyre from Michelin, is not the same dimension. Get a 325/30/21 non-N rated tyre and compare it to your N-rated 325/30/21 Cup 2, and see for yourself the difference in dimension.

In the high 30's low 40's the PS4S is "entertaining" on my GT3 in the wet in terms of raw traction. I don't know what would be better, but it's certainly a drift machine with the TC turned off. Certainly better than the cups, but still not a load of grip ;-)

Yeah I read they are now N rated which is way cool. A really superb tire, but I still prefer the Cup 2's as they are easier for me to feel at loss of traction time. Much better feedback at lose of traction time, which is really all I care about in a HiPo tire. Having said that I do live in coastal central Fl., so not a lot of seasons here.

Do the 4Ss also have the cracking problem with temperatures below 20 degrees?

I'm sure by now some of the guys in the Northeast that switched from stock CUP2 to 4S had a chance to put some winter miles on them, can you guys provide some feedback? I'm talking about temps in the mid 30s 40s and wet.

Thanks! For the street - I love the 4S. They give plenty of feedback and slowly lose traction when approaching limit. (Give you plenty of notice and easy to catch).

I haven’t had any street cars “outrun” me on my “4S”...
