Somehow I got a nail in each rear tire, so decided to replace all four tires with PS4..at 3500 miles

Wish I would have done this the day I got the car

greatly reduces road noise on highway, the car drive much better

I don’t track my touring, so this is the perfect compromise

Not sure if you drive in the rain ever, but you'll really notice the improvement then.

Any idea if these will work on a 2011 TTS stock rims (center locks ) I don’t see the N rating on the 19” wheels.

I've read countless posts on PS 4S tires and talked to many Porsche owners who had them as their OEM tires, and not one stated that they couldn't wait to get them replaced with Pirellis or Goodyears etc. Moreover when I talk to Porsche Service Managers or Techs or even Parts department personnel, I get the same message: PS 4S are the best tires with or without the N rating. The only people who are slow to get the message are at Porsche who decided in many cases to ship their new models with Pirellis or Goodyears.

Looks like some rain for the Smokies event this week so I'm going with MPS4S for the trip. Had the Cup 2s on, track day at RA, but I don't want to deal with those in the mountains with rain.

Do you have a second set of rims? Or just unmount/remount the tires?

Branded as N-Spec

Production tires that have passed all of the tests and received Porsche’s engineering department’s release can be branded with an N-specification. The N-specification brandings include: N-0 (N-zero), N-1, N-2, N-3, N-4, N-5 or N-6. These markings on a tire’s sidewall clearly and permanently identify them as approved by Porsche for their vehicles. The N-0 marking is assigned to the first approved version of a tire design. As that design is refined externally or internally, the later significant evolutions will result in a new generation of the tire to be branded with N-1, N-2, N-3, etc., in succession. When a completely new tire design is approved, it receives the N-0 branding and the succession begins again.

Mixing N-Spec Tires

Use only tire types tested by Porsche. Only tires with the same manufacturer and with the same specification code (e.g. “N0”, “N1” …) should be mounted on the vehicle. Tires should be replaced no less than in pairs on one axle at a time. Only tires of the same tire make and type must be used. Since many Porsche vehicles are fitted with different sized tires on their front and rear axles, this requires matching the tire brand, tire name and N-specification front to rear. While the tire manufacturers may also build other tires featuring the same name, size and speed rating as the N-specification tires for non-Porsche applications, these tires may not be branded with the Porsche N-specification because they do not share the same internal construction and/or tread compound ingredients as the N-specification tires.

Just drove them 250 Miles yesterday returning from dealer trading in my 2010 Panamera S with recent MPSS Tires for a 2015 Panamera Turbo S shod with MPS 4S.
Usually not a fan of "All Season" Tires, but these were far quieter, with a much more comfortable ride and with better steering response on the return trip than I had expected.
Last night I read many MPS 4S+ Print and Video reviews including comparisons with other competitive "best" tires from other brands.
Almost all reviewers preferred the 4S in both wet and dry testing. I know nothing about their track performance, but on the road they were great.

MPS4s are not all season tires.

Correct which is why I went with Bridgestone’s on winter wheels (the rear 305 are too narrow for stock 12in wide wheels).

Thanks to everyone who shared their Experience.

Guys can you please clarify. I’m a little confused. I realize the PS 4s are great tires. I will be running them on a 2011 TTS, Oem stock staggered size on 19” center lock rims. I see the 20” for the newer tts are N rated. I don’t plan on tracking the car just normal to spirited driving on street.

Is running non N rated tires an issue for driving performance or can it cause differential damage ?

Is these anything else I’m not asking or thinking about that I should know ? Thanks very much.
