Is there any difference in the brakes compared to the 991.1 GT3/RS?

@TopspeedPT thanks for posting the video.....running out of 3RS videos to watch. Though, I wish Henry spent a little more time on his 3RS review then waxing lyrical about The Lost Nurburgring.

So I guess after I get the 3RS I will officially be a Rock Star. Need to grow my hair a little longer and get a few really cool tattoos................

i love how he says he prefers it to the gt2RS... i havent driven the new GT2RS, just a 997 version so i really can't speak knowledgeably. But owning a car with this NA engine now, i have to agree, there is nothing like it. I also like the aesthetics much better than the gt2RS..

if i could buy a .3RS.. it would be just like this one.. in Red, with gold wheels, without the Weissach package.

Really never seen anything like it, and I've had many cars done at my place. I've seen plenty of PPF scrapped because of these issues, never left on the car. Wasn't cheap either, and there wasn't really any recourse for the original owner.

Removed all of it.
Thanks for info. If I was able to find someplace to even do a crappy simple front half bra to cover the nose and side rear wheel flairs I would accept it, then just pull it off when arrives home. Last year on ED there were some roads that were brutal, would like some basic coverage. Plus, hoping to hit some tracks if able, this minimal coverage is at least something.

No problem. If you get a nose and hood piece, that would be a reasonable start and in the past I have used Xpel Tracwrap on stuff like rockers and wheel wells for short duration installation. It's not a perfect solution but it more than does the job of protecting the paint and it's easy-on easy-off. I just wouldn't want to risk spending €7500 and then being told "sure, ship it back to Germany and we'll fix it."

Interesting that Henry mentions in the video how there is little difference in this version between the GT3 and the RS.

I'm sure many people share the sentiment that if one owns a 991.2 GT3 PDK there's not much performance to $ based rationale to step up to the 991.2 3RS.

It basically feels like most of the improvement from the 991.1 3RS is already built into the 991.2 GT3.

on the street maybe.

on the track:
wider axle widths. how much? 30mm each?
+20mm Rubber on each corner.
aero
springs
will separate.

as it does also on the .1 - for my feeling.

never the less. interesting from Henry. maybe he don‘t get one?

The blue pinstripe on this one is interesting:

Very cool, wheel stripe must be cxx, can't imagine how much that will cost lol. I'd like the red pinstripe on mine, don't really want to paint it, I wonder if any of the "curb protector" colored strips would look decent?

Actually i agree with him 100%, unless its a manual GT3.. Put the same special sauce R spec tyres on the standard PDK GT3 and i bet it would do the Ring in just over 7 minutes..I'm in the running to get one in the second batch, which suits me just fine as the WP isn't available in the first UK batch..
As Henry quite rightly mentioned you really need the WP, even to just distance it from the GT3..Trouble is i'm not taken with Lizard in combination with the WP..I'm going with one of the standard flat colours with the WP but unsure which one yet..
