New GT3/GT2RS Leads With/Without ADM

You work harder, make more money and you pay it. I did the same thing. I don't regret it at all. Would love one at MSRP but not happening where I live. I'm also not interested in buying 3 other cars and losing money on those so I can get one at MSRP. Easier to write the ADM check for the car I want.

That is why people pay it. Some make money and it doesn't mean as much as it does for others. Market is very fluid that way. Supply/Demand. Only way Porsche will fix this ADM stuff is to build twice as many cars so they lose value faster. That would get rid of a lot of flippers and would lower the demand and therefore price. To me, it looks like Porsche is doing that with the current GT cars. My bet is there will be a lot more GT3, 3RS and 2RS than almost any of us think. They did it with the 991.1 as well and that has dropped the whole GT market over the last couple years.

And there in lies the problem. We're all pissed off at the dealers yet we keep feeding their greed. You can't blame them for taking our money if we keep giving it to them voluntarily. Talk to the people who paid 70-100k on the 991.1 RS bubble wrapped them and drove them to the Starbucks parking lot. I bet you they don't feel good about their decision now!!!

Agreed and nor will the folks paying the ADM's now. It is literally like burning money. Yes jealous and cynical. Jealous I don't have $45K to just burn because I have to have something right now and cynical that folks do keep paying it to feed the frenzy. Oh well I will watch all these rich folks burn their money from the sidelines. Hopefully someone is building that GT3 exactly like I would have and I can catch it after a couple of years and only 1,000 miles for under MSRP like I did my .1.
But I have been looking for a touring since they were announced. Ive missed a few that were very close to what I was willing to pay (one Chalk and one Mooty's_) because of color. I wanted black
I found one in black with a bunch of options I don't care for (cow on dash, wart, stitching ect)....but I paid the ADM and locked in on the car
The reason I did was not financial, but I want a touring car as a daily driver....not to park in the garage. 15K miles a year or so. Ive been driving a SC range rover the last few years, always buy new. Ill probably loose less money on the touring car with ADM then I do on a rover
992 is coming out...once it is out it will be a few years before we see a GT car. My opinion...is the 991.2 GT3 will not drop until the new shiny object comes out. Until then I will have a few years to enjoy my new daily driver
I wont sell it anyways so in the long run of 5 years until I find a new shiny object the ADM is really a rounding error....still have the 997.2 GT3RS Mooty sold me in 2010....and until my touring is in I am daily driving it, as it is mor comfortable than my '94 Defender

Got to love the 2 RS at PNH. More shadiness by these dealers. Appears that is one of those ole 918 VIP cars that they need to hang onto for a year but the broker/flipper/dealer needs to take advantage of the HUGE "market price" demand. Purely speculation of course. Would love to know the details. Man I hope all this shady sh$t stops and we can just get great cars in the hands of folks that like the brand and want to drive them instead of making it a speculators business.
