Finally got around to emailing the dealer I put a deposit down with in early 2016 for an MSRP allocation (#3 on their list). Dealer tells me they no longer keep a list but they will honor my allocation and have one slot left. I don't have a build date yet, but assuming it will be slate build.

I sent in a PTS touring build code.

Now to see if they honor my .2 RS allocation (have identical paperwork and identical credit card charge deposit).

Awesome that you have that level of transparency and they are willing to honour the commitment.

My paperwork was very specific about #3 at MSRP. We will see if they honor the RS allocation as well.

Yup. No PTS, but at least they got my CXX options confirmed. Good news for everyone is that the manager indicated that there will be MY2019 cars (not sure what that means build date wise), and one more round of allocations.

I was expecting the allocation. SA and manager told me I'd be getting one a while back since I've bought quite a few cars from my dealer.

Had a phone call Saturday from the Sales Manager at the dealership that I spec'd my GT4 and have a deposit down on a .2GT3. There was a chance that another interested party was going to back out of their slot which was going to become mine, but he decided to go ahead with it. So now I'm being told by the SM he is "93%" confident he can get me MY2019, taking delivery in Q4 of 2018 most likely. He claims to have talked to his Porsche rep late last week and is trying to get all his interested customers cars, and mine will be at MSRP. I realize, while good news, really doesn't mean it's a lock, but it may support the belief others have mentioned here of another round of cars in the second half of 2018.

Yup, confirms my thoughts that they'll build GT3s into 2019...hang tight guys.

I was informed earlier that a Lava Orange (manual, pccb, buckets, led, axle lift, etc.. a 177k build) arrived at the dealership and is now available at MSRP... brand new & untitled. Contact Kashif at Porsche of West Broward via (954)647-8678‬.

Looks like all the sound and fury of earlier days are dying down, and MSRP is slowly being the norm. ADM's were for the "I got it first" crowd, which for some was worth it.

I would've consider something like this if I didn't have an allocation. Wonder how/why its available... They keep telling me earlier this year that they cannot give new customers a GT3 allocation, only to their existing GT customers... (perhaps trying to have me buy one of their used 991.1 GT3 to give me a 991.2 GT3 allocation).

Orig buyer, deal fell thru.... but I was just informed a minute ago that it’s now just sold.

Note though that not everyone who got it first ( or early, like me) paid an ADM..... there are msrp deals out there for repeat clients as one example.

Yup, and also, there's a big difference between speccing your own car and buying some bloated build the dealer specced. Someone who buys a $185k dealer build with options like a $530 color matched key in a leather pouch at MSRP is paying an ADM just the same...
