I think more than what people care to admit. I just bought a .1 gt3 last week at porsche dealer and while visiting this morning, gm told me I would have priority on an allocation should I decide to get a .2....... the catch is 10k over msrp and get a loan to be kept for a certain amount of time. reason for this is to minimize on people flipping and making a profit.

I paid $10k over for a configurable allocation build in October 2017. Seemed reasonable to me given lack of options when I looked for a spot at various dealers nationally. Did not want to buy someone else's spec used or a dealer spec.

And I bet you pretty much everybody who would never pay extra $25k dealer markup on a $170k car wouldn't blink at paying $195k MSRP for the same car if that was the factory price.

The base price is the starting figure for depreciation. ADM not included, as there is no equity in the cost of privilege.

I am guessing most people that pay over don’t even come to this forum. I personally know of two that sold for $45000 over and actually helped a friend get one for 15000 over, and that is for a “VIP” customer.

Not bad. Don't loose any sleep over that number.
