I think the .1 GT3 market is softening as buyers are holding off with the hope of buying a .2.
The truth is that outside buyers without an established relationship with a dealer and a clear path to receiving an allocation will find it very difficult to get a new .2.
IMO this means the .1 demand will return once outside buyers realize they can't just walk into a P dealer buy/order one.
As such, I am waiting on the sideline to move my .1 for now.
I purchased my GT3 and my GT4 from the sale dealer and SA. When they received their initial round of allocations I was one of four. Having an established relationship is important part of the puzzle.

I understand your point but don't agree that it's the same for everyone. I for one enjoy the anticipation of waiting a bit and I also draw satisfaction from knowing I had the patience and restraint to make a decision on my terms. Different strokes for different folks.

^^^^ Not sure of the need to wait when most can't get an allocation. Bird in the hand better than bird in the bush. Good part they have trade bait if they can get an allocation.

That's not what I said.
My point was a general one. Deferred enjoyment is never as enjoyable as enjoyment now. Hence the price delta.
It's like beer at ballgames. One can always wait until after the game to grab a beer. But if one wants a beer now, while watching the game, at the ballpark, then that person is going to pay. And, pay dearly.
