Went to the local mountain, the weather was great! Had fun going around the bends. Will need a wash since the parking was next to a construction site.

Swapped my AX and street wheels, and was bummed to see that the outer cv boots are leaking. Made for a greasy mess inside the wheel barrel.

Replacing those boots looks like a challenging DIY, and shops want nearly $1k for the job.

You may not have to replace the boots, rather just the clamps. This is exactly what happened to me. I got the band tightening tool and a set of bands off Amazon and did it myself for about $50 all in using the same boots. If you're boots need replacing, well then yeah, it is a job.

Thanks! Yes, I should take a closer look, and will do so before going to the mechanic.

From my initial look under the car it seems that the passenger side inner boot might also have a small tear. The car has 117k miles, so it’s not surprising if they’ve failed. I don’t have records of any previous replacement.

Not really that big a job, just messy. You don't even need to remove the axle from the hub (which is a pain).

The first week that I have in my possition this 987.2 passed so I decide to make the 1st upgrade.
Cayenne gts steering wheel.
The whole procedure was just plug and play. No coding needed. No I have to figure out if I can make this round thingies work.
I think it is there to oparete with the modes of the car(sport, sportpluss etc..) if somebody did it feel free to share your knowledge.

Time to refurbish the headlights on my 987.2. I'm quite pleased with the results.

R-style graphics. Should probably have gone with red on black.

Hi Zach, it was the turtlewax kit - not sure there's much difference between kits, but that one was cheapest...

Is it just the bottom photo, the colors look very different? Is the wheel Luxor Beige and the seats/interior Sand Beige?

It's just the photo mate, the color is identical.

As someone with a black / gray interior, it looks the same to me!
