Finally got around to detailing my wheel wells... (drill bit brush attachment FTW)
Fender liners ceramic coated, so hopefully it stays cleaner for longer + easier to clean.

Sliced and diced my way to work.
Not sure what was up, but I swear everyone was out to get me.
Glad the Cayman handles so well.

Thanks! I used Super Clean degreaser, let it soak and brushed off.

Replaced the plugs and coils. They all looked in okay condition, though I didn’t know that until I pulled the old ones out. No previous records of them being changed in the last 60k miles, so why not.

Also making progress on replacing the cv boots. About ready to reassemble the passenger side and start on the other axle.

Black accents on Sand Biege.
Don't get me wrong, I like my Sand Beige on Basalt Black. The interior gets a bit busy with the color. This spring, I painted the center console Gloss Black.
I followed that with a Black shifter and accompanying console trim. Finished it today with a Black Steering wheel.
Steering wheel was extremely easy to replace.

Looks great! I'd probably go a step further and convert all the remaining silver/gray to black as well. I think that'd 'simplify' the overall look.

It's a thought.
I had another make that comment.
Next 'fix' is a black handbrake

Changed the gearbox oil on my 987.2. I used redline oil and I expect it hadn't been done before- 75k miles on it. I do think the gear changes are just a little bit smoother now.
