I bought an Audi S4 while he was working on it which kind of depleted my discretionary car funds for the moment.

Carl - great work, top quality and built to specific requirements. Kudos.

Looking at the dyno charts I'd guess you're using an intake restrictor to give a fatter boost curve. I'd even guess that it's about 34mm in diameter.

I'm looking forward to the "overly restrictive" AFM on the S2 becoming an asset rather than a liability!

Cheers,
Mike

Mike -

we have no restrictor in the system at all. There has been no need for one. Dyno charts are au-naturale!

I head that Carl took 3rd in the Pikes Peak unlimited class race in his modified 928...only being edged out by two souped up 4WDs. Since half the track is gravel, that's a great showing for a Porsche of any breed.

Apparently, had he run in Vintage class, he'd have taken 1st.

What he builds he uses....and uses them hard.

Wow Carl, that's cool. Apologies for the inference. Well done at Pike's Peak!

The last mounting brackets have come in now from manufacturing and they have been test-fitted onto the 968.

We are ready to take orders - I am activating the webpage for it now.
http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/...harger_kit.php

All parts are in stock accept the supercharger itself (too expensive to carry in inventory). We get the Raptor superchargers about 2-3 weeks from the date we order, and we ship the kit 1 day after we receive the head unit.

Here are a couple pics of what the head unit looks like with the finished moutning brackets on it.

Looks great. Can you take a measurement from the back of the top mounting bracket (where it attaches to the upper balance shaft) to the front of the Raptor. I'm trying to determine if the bracket would work with my Frankencar (968 engine in a 924S).

Beautiful work Carl. I am seriously considering one for my cab. Can't live with 240hp anymore.

Carl,

Did you ever get the S2 you needed for the test fitting? I DE quite a bit and I'm to the point where I need to move onto a 911 or higher hp car. I'm interested to see how the fitting went and do you have any pictures of that fitting?

Great workmanship, Carl. You keep tempting me. I'm tossing around how difficult the install would be. What's easy for Raj is not so for me.

Carl: would a modified header/exhaust system such as RSBarn's have an effect on this supercharger's usability?

Also: activating the link to the installation instructions would be much appreciated!
