Engine having final bits screwed on, including Porsche Motorsport rockers. £ouch.... Motorsport wiring loom fitted.

RSR sequential box fitted. Will probably miss next trackday due to stupid TPS problem.

Almost there peeps...

Good to see RC stamped the unmistakeable CTR orange on it.

That engine / whole project for that matter is awesome.

Quite a lot has been going on in the background, despite my lack of posting recently. The car has been back to the Paint shop a few times to have it finished to the exacting standards of my Bodywork guy. He has also now plumbed in the new oil coolers (a real PITA apparently), and dummy fitted the engine again to work out exact angle required for the end tanks so they can be welded on. Here is a quick pic of the engine whilst all the plumbing was being worked out.

Car should be complete by approx 15 Oct

James: Plumbing is awesome! Gotta love the valve covers, too. CW to see the total product. Very, very impressive.

I'll give exact details in due course. But for now assume INSANITY....

I also need a rising rate FPR. Base pressure around 5bar with head room to accommodate 2bar boost. If anyone has one or has good contact, it would be much appreciated. Bosch want over £600...

OK, this is a picture of the progress being made putting everything back together. Here one of the CTR oil coolers is being fitted. I'm beginning to see why my Bodywork guy claimed this was a real PITA. These coolers are the CTR bar and plate coolers. Of course we don't use normal welders, end tanks were done by Docking.

Are you expecting RC to drive this?

Why all the work on the engine, but then use a stock wastegate?

Because they work, and tend not to fail. No point changing stuff just for the sake of it.
