Yeah, defo for Brunters. I bought a load of MoTeC options (knock and traction control etc) that need to be set-up on the road, plus I want to record some figures obviously...

Right Boys, I know you want Pics, but the car is not in my garage yet, so frankly you can wait

PC dropped the car back with RC to swap out the duff alternator (engine out job on my car now), so I thought i'd meet him up at Richards.

Well the car looks bloody fantastic. Initially you are overwhelmed by the beauty of it. Then you start noticing details that require further investigation: Pandoras Box! Oh, the wonder.

Anyhow, I'll put up a few other pics, as PC dropped off a disc with all his pics of the work on my car (that he was involved with).

It is getting difficult to post too much as there is such interest in the car that all the big Mags want 'rights' to the story...

I have to apologise for lack of updates. Work/unexpected problems (good)/unexpected problems (bad)/various peoples holidays/etc...

The car has been together and running for a while now which has thrown up a few issues as things are bedding down. Most are down to the silly power it is making and having to reinforce bits or design from scratch a new component. Im lucky to have RC doing the work as he is able to machine custom bits as needed.

Assuming work frees up a bit I hope to have the car back in a week. Until then here is a pic of the engine in the car sans IC:

We should be, as far as salt on the roads go. Your speedlines looked brand new after Adrians work and will really set the car off, although your other wheels actually suited the car well....surprisingly well actually.

Don't suppose you have any wheels to take up to Adrian? Now that the sun it out it makes sense to get mine refurbished. I have actually put my car up for sale but somehow I can see myself keeping it, as was out driving today and loved it.

...posta above out of sync....

Its funny you tell people about the black wheels and they're all "noooo....".

But they do work.

This is prgress on one of the issues. The rear bumper kept getting BBQ'd due to excess flames. We changed the Map a bit and sent the exhaust off to make the tail pipes removerable. Quarters repaired and repainted:

Exhaust back from the Ceramic coating. These are the guys used by a number of F1 teams! Exhaust coated inside and out!

Clearly will look better when the bumper is back from the painters and on the car.

Had our first shakedown at VMax last Saturday. Then on Monday we had a photo shoot for 911 & Porsche World. VMax was just a 'system' test, we opened the taps a bit for the photo shoot. Please don't ask any details of the shoot and article as I can't tell you; you have to wait until the next issue of 911 & Porsche world. It will be worth it I promise you...

This picture is from Vmax:
