Flatnose progress
Progress has been delayed due to a full respray of my RSR, but the complex stuff is making progress. Here are some updates. The lights have been integrated with the 964 loom, retaining the pop up on flash etc. Looks very cool but i cant up load the file as it is too big.

Thought the conversion was a bit more scientiic than that. Is that how its usually done or can you buy complete front flat nose wings?
Based on my limited computer skills, i`ve always found if I dump the pictures into photoshop or even paintshop and then save again and it generally shrinks the size.

We have a complete set of dummy wings that have been used to measure everything before the cutting started. You can't buy the wings, but this is how Porsche did it any way. Also my body work guy is just about the best there is, if he says cut here, you cut here. Have faith, i'll feed you updates so you can see for yourself how good this guy is.

Not doubting his work, just had never seen it done before and always thought people just bought the whole front wings. You seem to know all the guru`s in the business. Can`t wait to see the finished product.

I should also add, we bought the rear fender air ducts but they didn't look right i.e. they were symmetrical. As we all know the 965 vents on the turbo S are not symmetrical, so my guy drove up to GMund cars in yorkshire to take "molds" from their original Turbo S they had forsale. We are leaving no stone unturned in this project.

James - thank you for sharing. Please post as often as possible as it has always been my dream for these fenders. I just got frustrated with my metal guy and stopped him from proceeding. Jim

This is the dummy wing with lights installed and working with the 964t loom. When you select full beam they pop up and also when you flash.

Yeah, we have some new 968 wings that are being chopped. The lights and mechanism were bloody expensive. Porsche have been pretty cool working with my body guy to help with the loom conversion.

Are you changing the rear trailing arms? Just wondered if you were going to get those deep outer lips on the rear wheels that everyone wants. Like the 964 RSR has. Jim
