The car was definitely in good hands and the buyer should be getting a well cared for example.

Sad to say I might be considering parting ways with me 964 in the next few weeks. Still not sure what to do but simple fact is that I just haven't used it much this year after getting into motorbikes & trackdays. Feel like everytime I get to drive it I dismiss these thoughts almost immediately but at same time seeing it just sitting most of the time is disappointing as well. I'd rather have someone enjoy it rather than just own it. Still not sure what to do or what to even ask if the time were to come. Its certainly one of the most meaningful ownership experiences I have ever had, and its doubtful anything will come close in the future.

If I were to go through with it, where is the market at currently? I'm seeing a range of prices around. Some cars I thought could be asking more while others are pure dreamers.

If I had to give a quick description:
-Originally a California Car. Its a '90 C2 5Spd with 127K - Top end rebuild at 112K.
-Original Paint
-Extensive Service History
-Factory LSD Option
-Factory Sport Seats - Cashmere Interior
-4 Pot Calipers All Around, Rotors, Pads and Fluid done.
-Distributor was rebuilt
-Plugs and Coils also done
-New oil cooler, sensor and oil pressure sender.
-Oil lines done
-Lots of aftermarket goodies etc.

Overall I'd need to sit down and pull out the books to see everything done, the above is just a sample. Overall its a great drivers car that has been well sorted and tastefully modified, if I do say so myself. All it needs is perhaps a new caretaker. What ballpark range would you guys put it into price wise?

mr.alex,

I knew this was coming when you told me about your motorcycle addiction. nothing compares to the rush you get from leaning your bike into the corner.

good luck.

I took my first CSS class 4 or 5 years ago and I have not been to the track in the car since then, other than charity laps.

I agree with Tomato, nothing compares to the rush of tracking a bike. First time when I got my knee down as epic. At 53 I am not as limber as I used to be so its a lot of work moving myself around on a bike but its wicked fun.

I'm going the opposite direction. I raced WERA for the last couple of years until my daughter was born. I sold my Ducati 1199 Panigale and my Ford Transit cargo van. Looking to get into a 964. Let me know if you need anything bike wise. I'm pretty plugged into the race seen.

Alex,

I won't say keep it but I would hold out for top dollar. You have a nice example and at the rate Singer is gobbling these up your car will be worth a lot more in a year or two. I would start at upper $50's maybe more.

As much as I love the RWB cars...what annoys me the most is 1) he took a super clean 964 and cut it up. 2) He's selling after going through all that travesty and effort to build one just for e-fame....

That's probably the best looking RWB I've seen. The red works well.

One odd thing is the decal on the passenger side being reversed, like A M B U L A N C E letters.
Odd.
