I can take a look at it if anyone is interested. Considering the miles and overall condition it looks like a nice driver for $180k. If this had half the miles and was in better condition I would expect it to bring a considerable amount more.
Coblat, as often is the case on these turbo's, I'll defer to your superior knowledge. Just looked like a good price on a desirable car.

Thanks,

However in this case I know the seller personally and I find him to be more realistic about pricing than most. This is probably a good deal for someone who wants a 3.6T but isn't willing to drop considerably more for a super clean example.

Look at the ones top gear has. Some of these cars are a lot nicer than the others but to the average person they all look similar. http://www.topgearporsche.com/inventory

Some of the top gear cars have had complete resprays with higher miles and are asking more. This car appears to be original for the most part except exhaust and suspension. The road rash is consistent with miles and I like that they didn't do anything to cover it up.

Each car needs to be looked at individually. I have no first hand knowledge of this particular car. Most of the top quality cars have been added to collections a long time ago and the owners are reluctant to sell.

This looks like it could be a very nice example with some money dumped into it but the miles will always hurt value. Although there are a lot who speculate that these will skyrocket again but who knows and I would buy it if you like it and not as an investment.

Check out this interior. These older Porshes had so much character and style! Would love to own this car.

Not sure who makes the wheels but they aren't RH or real speedlines. Also why is there a picture of a Fuchs style wheel shown?

Yea I noticed that too. The Fuch picture is not even the same car. Must have been a mistake on the person collecting & posting the pics.

Because some ******** did a copy paste and forgot to check his/her work before publishing. Besides the Fuchs, there is also the mention of "1989 Porsche 911 Anniversary Edition. 1 of 200 Anniversary Cabriolet Made [...] 80K miles". Love the car though.

According to Norbert, there were only 4 ARs in 1994 (all Canadian), 2 manuals and 2 tips... Color combo is awesome IMO. I've been dreaming about buying it for my wife, but it will have to remain a dream.

The problem with that car is Porsche didn't make a widebody cabriolet in 1994 so its a conversion. The wheels are Chinese knock offs. Tire Rack used to sell em. Also, it was sold originally in Canada.

$90k ? LOL not likely.

I thought the same when I first came across the listing but see my post above yours. Also, the VIN for that car (RS460130) falls within the range given by Norbert (RS460061 to RS460283). Not sure about your Canadian comment, it should not have any bearing on value.

no intent on dissing the tip. my point was that it would be even more ridiculously priced if it was a manual.
