1992 ROW C2: 23K miles give or take. Sport Seats. https://www.elferspot.com/en/car/por...-1992-1028031/

At today's exchange roughly $140K USD. Polar Silver which was a special order color back then. Thoughts?

Am I crazy or do these prices make 964 RS listings look like a steal right now?

Totally agree, only issue is CA and states with tight emissions controls. Unless you have a dealer's license or want to deal with Montana LLCs, just doesn't work. If not for that, I'd have an RS in the garage already!

Indeed. An RS is Bliss. And probably a better deal than these 6 figured C2/C4 Coupes or the $1MM Singer etc.

I still remember when nobody wanted the 964s and they could be had for sub $20k sub 60k miles. Good times.

Yup, bought my first in 2015 in the low $30s with 60k mi. Wish I kept it. Oh well…on to better, and unfortunately more expensive things 😀 - green Targa, here I come!!

Whats the going rate on a driver RS now? I see some higher mileage cars listed in europe in the $150s.

I too have many wasted trips to Florida. I appreciate the Green Backdate and I hope he does well on that car. I think if it's fiberglass that will be the largest problem for the owner at any year of ownership. To be honest I'm not sure If I want to show my 1993 after all the comments on these cars. I've made many mistakes building 964's over the years. I hope I'm not devaluing my 93 by changing the car from tip to Manual with a near new 5 speed. All the other changes are inline with popularity these days. I took ten years off so it took me 5 months to get up to speed.

Really? For a lightweight RS this site has them in the $200-260k USD:

elferspot shows a 98k mile car for about $180k ask. Seems there are quite a few in that range on theparking-car, one even for about $144k. Maybe Im looking at something wrong lol, cause that makes a $125k C2 price look silly to me.

I wouldn't concern yourself with values these days. If the car is clean and documented it sells. I decided to remove the sunroof from my 93 C2 with 60k miles. If it hurts the value I am not concerned I never plan to sell and if I do it is what it is.

It used to be a modified car like this would never sell. Today people gobble it up. It seems to be more of a sum of the parts these days on anything that isn't low mile pristine original. Although I have to question their pricing. What was actually done for a $44k engine and $28k 993 trans build?
