too good to be true? Any information on this car?
It’s been listed for a while but worth investigating. Has anyone looked at it or talked to the owner?

My 51K mile '90 is dry as a bone underneath.

Cheapest turbo I've seen in a long time. Man why wasn't this available a year ago when I was looking?
I'm sure you'd have to put some money into it but would be fun to fix it up.

2swoosh recently went to look at this car when it was on CL back in April....

No major dings nor dents but it'll need a full exterior repaint, lots of body claddings are loose aside from the dash it will need a full interior. It's a used car dealership that sells mixed brands from regular daily driver to antique and high end euro. The salesman said it had 2 owners, clean carfax, and they only had it for a week and they got tons of calls from all over the country (probably mostly from Rennlisters, lol) and expecting to sell it soon. I'm not familiar with the market for 964 turbos but I saw some crazy prices lately so if it checks out mechanically and you are handy and have the space, money, and time, this could be a potential.
Personally, I won't pay no more than 70 large for it since I don't have the skills and time to do the rehab.

That's what I was wondering. Posting a 964 for sale in here is like throwing out crack to crack addicts.

This car started life in Alaska which I just thought was interesting. It has two separate accidents on the carfax,
One where the total damages were over $1000 hit from the rear, the other hit in the right rear damages supposedly under $1000.

The mileage entries on Carfax are spotty too.

Could be worth at least looking at if you're close. Been on the market a long time IIRC

I looked at that car bud it'll need full repaint and cladding replacement, will need full interior including the carpet, seats, dash and headliner. She started right up and idled good, no smoke comin out of the exhaust, and I wasn't able to check underneath. It's a major project plus the unknown. If you are handy and have the skills for DIY then it'll be a good therapy, lol
some say around $30k to do the exterior and interior plus mechanicals. Easy $60s to restore it to perfection.

Or just drive F out of it and do all the little stuff over the next ten years while enjoying a turbo. Call me crazy...

Sorry guys / should clarify for people who haven’t seen the car before. This was a joke related to another car that sold for a lot of money with martini livery . Mine is not currently for sale.
