Way under priced. Fishy...
Car sold to 1st person who reach out. Nothing fishy, his car was priced right at condition #2 on Hagerty. He had a power point he sent me with the Hagerty break down and bunch of other info on the vehicle.

From the seller - "The buyer was the first to contact me out of the eventual 30 and I respected that queue. He required no inspection, no additional photos, no contingencies, no shipping as he is traveling to pick it up, and full price wired in full (no deposit)."

Just give it some time. It'll be listed on a dealer site for $65-75k, touted as "investment quality" and all those good things. That's what happens to any decent 964 that's initially sold for a reasonable price.

Well if it makes you feel any better the car went to a private party not a dealer

I know the 19k car on BAT and I bought my C2 from the previous owner of the 19k car. He drove the C4 only in the winter as the C2 was his summer car. He didn't garage either of them, left them to sit at the Porsche specialty shop for extended periods of time (which is even indicated on the invoice). Michigan is rough on cars. I bought my C2 from him because he had left it at the shop for months... So I inquired about it.

The car really presents better in person. Headstuds breaking due to corrosion from our Salt and snow isn't unlikely, especially if left outside. Clutch was done preventatively.

I have no reason to believe the previous owner would lie about the mileage. My friend certainly has not put 100k on it unregistered. At least he was upfront about fixing the odometer

That says a lot and unfortunately IMO negates the value of a low mileage car.

How does climate and road conditions break headstuds?

I only have experience with Texas climate, where my daily driver "winter tires" have a 200 tread rating and 3/32nd tread depth.

Agree. Beautiful targa for sure, but very optimistic price. There are too many nice cars out there for much less money, and much fewer miles on the odometer. No matter how well done, or how comprehensive of a refresh the mileage is going to hurt the value.

I am not sure my car MY 91 spent her entire life in Honolulu till I got it in 2014. She had 39,000 miles on her. She had 4 broken head studs 2 on one cylinder. It doesn't make sense a lot of crap would get to the head studs. My car is stripped down right now for a respray and only has a small amount of rust under both front fenders close to where cowl meets that area. Also some rust under the passenger side of HVAC unit

Not sure if this has been posted here.
I love the color combo and passed on that same combo a couple weeks ago on ebay.
This is a C4 and a 89, would rather find a C2 and post 91 but very hard to find anything else than black/white/red.... looking for blue/gray or green...

any experience with these guys?

I think more RSA's were tracked per number made but I have seen equal numbers of both tracked. Not as many as 10 years ago but they are still out there. AS said a very thorough PPI is a must on this one. Pictures won't cut it you need to see it in person.
It looks very much like Coral red but you need to review the documentation or paint code sticker. PTS is the rage but you have to live with it.

They have an America Roadster as well

Thanks to all for responding. Just got back from vacation. I was intrigued (although I'm good with the RSA...for now)...but I do agree the color looks off and all the bad press seems to be off putting. Thanks.
