No doubt quite a few. I sold the 3.6 out of my 90 C4 I converted to a track car to a gentleman who was installing it into a 70 911. I purchased a 3.6 Vram from a 993 to use instead. I can't tell you how many of these conversions I have come across and there was a time people would buy these cars for $13k just for the engines and part the rest out.

Not too long ago that guy Blackbyrd on PelicanParts seemed to be parting out a new, complete, 964 every few days.

No, I was going off the timing on the Pelican posts. I saw the car listed last night and assumed it would move quickly based on the price.

I think it's the same car I almost purchased in Pittsburgh in 2009, had about 70k miles at the time could have had it for $23k LOL.

Rare color, lots of recent maintenance, manual, lower miles, C2, 92+

I believe he left a fair bit of money on the table.

I have the same car (MY, color) only with light grey interior which is really an off white color. Mine has a 6 speed and lots of RS bits.

Thoughts on this car? I've never seen this color. Is it more common to have a C4 tracked than a C2?

Be very careful with the seller; not a good reputation. A thorough PPI is a must. Assume the worse with these jokers.

I don't think the lighting is that bad but a paint meter especially the roof and back end is in consideration.
I think more RSA's were tracked per number made but I have seen equal numbers of both tracked. Not as many as 10 years ago but they are still out there. AS said a very thorough PPI is a must on this one. Pictures won't cut it you need to see it in person.
It looks very much like Coral red but you need to review the documentation or paint code sticker. PTS is the rage but you have to live with it.

They have an America Roadster as well
