Just back from Spa.

I learned three things:
1. Spa is good
2. A Maclaren MP12-4C is fast
3. I need to do more track days

(PS I enjoyed going to the 'Ring too but don't think I'll be rushing back)

Took the 964 out for a track day at Bedford having done the last few in my 944. Forgive me for saying it but I'd almost forgotten what a fantastic track car these are. Thoroughly enjoyed the day with my Septuagenarian father in the passenger seat - he had a hoot - especially when a racing driver friend of mine took him out in a Ferrari 355 - never seen such a broad smile on his face

Anyway, a couple of vids for your enjoyment:

Here's a bit more 964 track action from a Porsche Club Great Britain trackday held yesterday ( 23 October) at the 2.78 miles long Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire .

The morning session was very wet and slippery , but the track dried out in the afternoon so confidence and grip levels returned. Steve ( boxsey ) and Kevin ( asbi ) were along , as were a couple of 964 Carrera Cup cars plus a healthy showing of 964s and 993s as well as the modern water cooled stuff.

This clip is a bit long , about half a dozen laps , with Kevins 964RS starting behind and going past about two thirds along the clip - we never did catch the Cup car that started in front

Hi Steve! Any chance of seeing video number 3 (or 4 or 5) where I am your passenger. You did say it would be on Rennlist? Thanks again for a really great few laps of Oulton Park. That was the 3rd time for me to be a passenger around there and as I said the best yet! Previously I was thrown about a bit and my stomach didn't appreciate it at all then, but now that I am able to anticipate braking points and turn in etc. it's all wonderful stuff!! Thanks again. Brian.

Glad you enjoyed it Brian. I'll sort out that video by tomorrow. In the mean time here's a few more pics that were taken by Mike Pollock:
