The door sill covers were looking a little tatty. An eBay search found me these for a steal, I would have preffered 'Carrera' script as opposed to '911', but at that price I couldn't complain.

Otherwise the caliper decals were redone...

I think you should know a chill went down my spine when this page loaded and I saw that black leather interior with red piping. Very nice.

Thanks guys.

Agreed regarding the steering wheel - PO install.

Would these front belts work?

I like the sill covers .Any tips about removing the old ones - I presume they're glued on?

Easy, just use a small screw driver to pry the old plastic sill slightly off and pull off.

The remaining adhesive came off with some 3m adhesive remover.

Although, had to dog ear the corners of the new sills slightly to make them fit just right. The dog ear is hidden under the rubber door seal. Easy 15min job.

I'm thinking of eventually getting some thin chrome rings for the gauges to match the new sills.

Nice job on the car Frank, handles good for a couple seconds a lap at the track? Haha. Smooth. :
looking at them it reminds me the car should have had them from the factory when new.

Having seen (and heard) the car in the flesh, Frank, I think you are 1 driver seat retrim away from perfection

Thanks for kind words! I'm on the case... am thinking a set of these lightweight seats with some additional red piping and Porsche crest 'indented' in the head rest...
