964 Prices

For those of you that are considering this 964 I would think twice about doing business with this dealer. CPR Classic was once a respected dealer and restoration shop, but things about them have changed in recent years. Sellers not getting titles and buyers not getting paid. A number of civil suits open against them. I’ve been victim to dealers like this and got burnt very bad (lost the car I bought and the money). Don’t want anyone here to go through the same. If this car is good and on consignment then try to contact the owner to sell without CPR involved.

Not the auction house I would’ve chosen. Mostly associate them with American muscle cars. There have been a few crazy high Porsche sales with them before, but these are far and few between. Maybe someone could get a good buy on this RSA.

Porsche and Mecum as I see it is like oil and water. They aren't the place to sell Porsche's. Neither is BJ IMO. Gooding, RM etc are better choices. It isn't the auction house as much as the perspective buyer they attract.

What do you think of Broad Arrow (Hagerty's brand) at Amelia Island or Pebble?
Reportedly Broad Arrow was started by a few guys from Sotheby's

I was at the Broad Arrow auction in Pebble Beach and it was a very good venue with some pretty strong sales. The Porsche 75th Anniversary auction also looked good with strong sales also. Think it is a better venue for European cars than Mecum or Barrett Jackson, but has quite a bit to go to auction houses such as RM Sotheby’s or Gooding and Company. Think that would take time since Broad Arrow is a newcomer and it needs to establish itself more.

Thats the price on the 92 964 RS N/GT in Rubystone Red at Zweck...
Seems like a reasonable value for an ultra rarity! Does anyone have any information on the cars history and if it ever sustained any damage?

Nice car, but some of you have lost you minds re: the value of a dollar.
