PS - a different conversation but mine is a Tip and should fall into the VIN range of having the early rear suspension chassis - but it looks like it has the later.
Next thing it to start a new rumor and check for seam welding on this bad boy! hahaha

^ I agree although some of the panels show a lot of peppering possibly touched up and buffed out after the paintwork so the car was driven. So hard to tell. The RoW cars can be a bit of a crap shoot.

The car was absolutely driven since the paintwork was performed. Not a recently done job. Doesn’t look to be the worst paint I’ve seen, but certainly not the best. Difficult to get a feel for some of these cars just by looking at photos. In person can tell pretty quickly if it’s in my eyes a good or bad car. RoW cars it’s also difficult to read the documentation (unless you speak the given foreign language or spend a lot of time trying to translating it) and a lot have unknowns about their history abroad. North American delivered cars can also have the same unknowns, but don’t seem to have quite as many.

I don't see the value in many of these RS's. I have come across a few that are worthy of their asking but sadly too rich for my retired mans wallet and asking leaves little on the table to flip and I suspect it will be a while before a profit can be made at the asking. I need to unload 2 981's this spring.

I think @RapidGT is right on the pricing. There's not a giant pool of people who are bidding on cars like these and they know how every example has traded in the last few years so I doubt we'll see some outlier result here.

Maybe the previous owner was insanely OCD and didn’t want even minor paint imperfections from the very limited miles the car has. Also have heard of people repainting a car (even if it has perfect condition original paint) because the paint quality from the factory wasn’t up to their standards. Not so much with Porsche’s, but with other brands such as Ferrari. These are rare cases so not very likely it’s those with this car.

Ditto on why a 13K mile car would need a repaint. That seems strange for such low miles and on a car hasn't seen much daylight in the past 30 years.

Branded title since the 2019 BaT sale ? That's gonna be a bummer for seller, as it appears they voluntarily disclosed not actual mileage when registering in NJ based only a speedo repair . . . ?
But looks like they "lost" ~5k miles on the speedo repair ? Weird.
