I would be cool for someone to buy not for investment, but simply because they can. Then not keep it locked away in a collection.

Are we seeing a trend where cars with some miles (hence the driving guilt removed) are actually worth more in some instances? I guess that's the only thing that would hold me back on a car like this. You are buying something to sit, at that point.

Depends on who the buyer is. A professional athlete or actor with FU money could drive and enjoy it and not worry about adding some miles to it.

Could be no issues but that just doesn’t jibe for me without some kind of explanation.

love those jubilees but there’s something fishy there. For a car with no accident history, why on earth would it get a full repaint 8 years after production (in 2001)? The seller doesn’t address that in the listing so if I were a bidder, I would be hesitant to bid too much unless I could lay eyes on it myself and get it on a lift.

My 93 964 in Amethyst has readings at 5-6.5. Plus lovely Rock chips from a gravel Road. I think a blend counts for 2-3. Blend meaning blowing color over existing color and 2 coats of clear. Filler primer adds 5-20.

Not sure how BaT works but they probably have limited info they can put in the listing. With that said, they could have done with less fluff and addressed some of the more important points. Raymond Autobody is a good shop but it is your typical high volume shop. Bob is THE detail guy in the area and I used him exclusively when living in Mpls. His attention to detail and his skills are second to none and I am sure the paint is now as perfect as it can be.

They need to add something like "seller's notes" at the bottom where sellers who know what they are doing can list relevant details, like why stuff was done, and what other mods or work has been done, IMO.

@forbiddenbeat I’ve notice that a lot of sellers use the comments for that and provide a decent write up as soon as the listing goes live.
